Solar Firm, Azuri Technologies, Appoints GM for Nigeria and Ghana

In order to solidify its presence in Nigeria and Ghana, Azuri Technologies, an off-grid solar company, has appointed Vera Nwanze as its new general manager to oversee business activities in these two countries.

Azuri Technologies in partnership with the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) recently launched its pay-as-you-go (PAYG) off-grid solar power solutions for homes in the northern part of Nigeria.image

According to a statement by the company, it first entered Kenya market with the solar solution in 2011 and has since expanded its reach outside East Africa and is now targeting Nigeria and other West African countries.

Vera Nwanze has over 20 years experience in commercial marketing.

Chief Executive Officer of the company, Simon Bransfield-Garth, declared in the statement that, “I am delighted that Vera will be joining Azuri as general manager of Nigeria and Ghana. Vera has a tremendously impressive track record in West Africa and we wish her every success in this new and important role.”
